CIGA Design's most awarded design ideas aren't locked behind its highest price tier - several of the brand's Red Dot and German Design Award-winning skeleton watches show up right here, under ₹25,000. At Hour Studio, you can buy CIGA Design watches under ₹25,000 online in India from a curated set of 13 pieces spanning four series - D Series Aglaia, Series X Eye of Horus, Series C Skeleton and Series Z Edge - covering both men's and women's watches rather than one narrow style. Some shoppers search for this collection as CIGA Design watches under 25K; it's the same price band, same 13 pieces, just shorthand. This is the collection to shop if you want a genuine CIGA Design watch without stepping up to the brand's flagship tourbillon or Blue Planet pieces first. Every watch listed here is genuine, sold with an official manufacturer warranty, through Hour Studio - India's authorised home for CIGA Design online, and the storefront of Ethos, the country's largest authorised watch retailer.
A CIGA Design watch under this price doesn't mean a lesser design - the gap between a ₹20,000 piece and a ₹1,50,000 one usually comes down to case material and movement complexity, not design ambition. The brand applies the same skeletonised, back-to-front construction across nearly its entire catalogue, from the entry Series C Skeleton up to its flagship tourbillon pieces. What keeps this price band accessible is largely material choice: Series X Eye of Horus uses a lightweight bioceramic case instead of titanium, Series C Skeleton runs on a customised Seagull automatic movement rather than CIGA Design's more expensive in-house calibres, and several Series Z Edge references use standard stainless steel or DLC-coated steel rather than titanium. The design language doesn't get watered down to hit this price, though - Series C Skeleton won a Red Dot Award in 2017 and a German Design Award in 2019, and Series Z Edge picked up its own German Design Award in 2020, so you're buying recognised design work either way. The trade-off at this price is mostly about materials and movement grade, not the ideas behind the watch.
Series C Skeleton is CIGA Design's original “open heart” statement piece - a fully exposed automatic movement built on a customised Seagull calibre running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve, set in 316L surgical steel with a Bezier-curve case and a shock-absorbing internal structure the brand says triples conventional shock resistance. Series X Eye of Horus takes the transparency idea further with a 360-degree see-through bioceramic case shaped around ancient Egyptian symbolism - a triangular hand floats at the dial's centre while the Eye of Horus motif rotates with the time, powered by CIGA Design's own CD-01 self-winding calibre with over 150 parts. Series Z Edge is the brand's tonneau-cased skeleton line, available here in brushed steel, DLC black steel and lighter case options, built on the in-house CD-07 automatic calibre and finished with sapphire crystal and a dual-sided skeleton view. D Series Aglaia is the collection's women's line, a quartz watch built around a rounded-square steel case and gemstone dial options - malachite, opal, tiger's eye and mother-of-pearl among them - named for the Greek goddess of beauty and grace rather than built around visible mechanics the way the men's pieces are.
If you've never owned an automatic watch before, this price band is a reasonable place to start rather than a compromise - Series C Skeleton and Eye of Horus put the entire mechanism on display specifically so a first-time buyer can watch how an automatic movement actually works, rotor, gear train and all, rather than taking it on faith behind a closed dial. That's a different kind of introduction to mechanical watches than a plain three-hand automatic from a heritage brand would give you at a similar price, where the movement is identical in principle but invisible in practice. It also makes this collection a reasonable gift range: a design-forward, visibly mechanical watch reads as more considered than an obviously entry-level piece, without asking the gift-giver to spend flagship money to make that impression.
Hour Studio is one of the few authorised CIGA Design India retail partners with in-house servicing capability, run by Ethos, India's largest authorised watch retailer - worth checking for on an independent brand like CIGA Design just as much at this price point as at the flagship end, since genuine parts and after-sales support aren't as widely available through generic repair shops. Every order ships with an official manufacturer warranty, and Ethos backs it with service capability across more than 20 Indian cities, running since well before its 2022 stock market listing. Orders through Hour Studio include free shipping, an easy returns window and flexible payment options - the same standard applied to every CIGA Design watch on the site, regardless of price. If you're comparing online CIGA Design watches under ₹25,000 against a cheaper resale or import listing, that authorisation is what actually protects you once the order arrives, not just at checkout.
Start with whether you want a men's or women's watch - Series C Skeleton, Eye of Horus and Edge are unisex-leaning skeleton designs that read comfortably on most wrists, while D Series Aglaia is built specifically as a women's dress piece around gemstone dials rather than visible mechanics. If exposed movement is the whole point for you, compare how each series handles it: Series C Skeleton and Eye of Horus expose the movement from the front and back respectively, while Edge's dual-sided view sits inside a more restrained tonneau case. Case material affects both weight and price within this band - bioceramic and standard steel options sit toward the lower end, DLC-coated or lighter alloy cases toward the top. And if design-award pedigree matters to your decision, both Series C Skeleton and Series Z Edge carry documented Red Dot and German Design Award wins, which is worth knowing if you're choosing between otherwise similar pieces.
CIGA Design watches price in this collection currently runs from about ₹14,400 up to just under ₹24,000, all reflecting live discounts of 10–15% off list price at the time of writing. That puts every piece here below the brand's flagship Blue Planet and tourbillon pieces, but not below its design standard - you're buying the same skeletonised construction and, on two of the four series, an internationally recognised design award, just built on more accessible materials and movements. Filter by price, gender or series on this page to see current stock, and if you want to shop CIGA Design watches online at every price tier rather than just this one, the rest of the brand's catalogue sits one filter away.
